Journaling Prompts:
-Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of an experience you have had with God. Write about it.
-Make a list of big moments in your life that cause you to remember who God is.
-Do you think of remembrance as a spiritual discipline? Why or why not?
-Reflect on the first encounter you had with God; what was this experience like? What emotions did you feel?
-Write out a favorite Bible verse or phrase about God. Why does this stand out to you?
-If you could only describe God with one word, what word would you choose?
-How do you worship God in your daily life? What does remembering God in worship look like?
-When was the last time you told someone about God has impacted your life? Write about how it felt to share that with someone else.
-If someone asked you if you believed in miracles, what miracle would you tell them about? When have you seen the power of God at work in your life or in the life of another at work?
-Who in your life reminds you of God? What characteristics do you see in them that directs you to remember the presence of God?
